2. Introduction

It is composed of Cubic Boron Nitride grain and special ceramic binder CBN sintered layer is backed up by cemented carbide.
It has excellent features such as high hardness at high temperature with less chemical reaction against the workpieces.
It shows excellent performance on the hardened steel and gray cast iron at high speed, and on the milling of gray cast iron with excellent surface finish.
The special TiN binder allows the efficient cutting of cast iron roll and special roll.
